Beneath the Surface
Photographing life on land can be difficult if the lighting is not right or your subject isn't 'playing ball'. You have to times this by 10 when you move underwater. I was given an amazing opportunity whilst I was studying for my degree in Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth University, Cornwall. Where I was given the chance to try out underwater photography and from the moment I went underwater with the camera I fell in love with the technique. Using a Nikon DSLR in a Nauticam underwater housing I was able to capture the world beneath the surface.
